Covision Lab and AI

Within the framework of INNOVALLEY and supported by seven leading technology companies from the Eisacktal valley, existing know-how in the field of image processing (VISION) was bundled in the consortium Covision Lab.

The centre of excellence is the technological beacon for INNOVALLEY and focuses on the technologies of 3D sensing, deep learning and embedded vision. Applied research in artificial intelligence are being further expanded onsite.

3D printing of the future:

Additive manufacturing has countless facets and opens up just as many possibilities. The adddam competence centre at the "Kraftwerk" in Brixen is leading high-precision 3D printing of metals in small batches into the future through corresponding research and development work.

The adddam team is creating expertise and concentrated knowledge for incremental production methods and will in future be able to offer its customers innovative and efficient solutions for manufacturing via these alternative production technologies.

Competence Centre IBI

Construction technology as a focal point:

The Competence Centre IBI, based in Vahrn, is an interdisciplinary platform for networking, exchange, and awareness raising as well as innovation in the construction industry.

Experts from Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland work together in four thematic clusters to meaningfully connect competences in holistic planning, energy supply, resource management and building materials technology, as well as measurement technology, and to work together on the topics of the future.
